Petrol prices in various countries…

Came across an interesting article in Rediff, listing the petrol prices of various countries around the world, starting from the costliest. The costliest seems to be Turkey where the petrol price per liter is $2.68 (INR 113.30), and the cheapest being Venezuela at $0.05 (there is no typo here!) or INR 2.12 per liter. Well, what about Pakistan? Definitely cheaper than India – at INR 44.80! So what about China, the one nation always compared with India as a developing country? Ahem..’tis $ 0.74 or INR 31.30 per liter in China! Most of the time, we always tend to hit the top list for the wrong things – be it AIDS, corruption, poverty…you name it!
