Today’s theme - travel

Though I spent just about a week in Fort Collins, Colorado, the place has never failed to amaze me. Just a few kilometers west of Fort Collins lies the Horsetooth Reservior. I was told that the reservoir is a little over 6 miles long and spread across some 2000 acres approx.

It was a cold and sunny winter day when I visited the reservoir; what a perfect day for photography! Though not a pro at framing nature, I tried this shot from the middle of the road, the sides of which appeared to gracefully merge with the bluish tinge of the waters. How I wish I got to stay close to a place like this, just me and my mountain bike on this road! Pipe dreams, eh!

Nature at its best? Well, this thing of marvel is man made - constructed in 1949!
