Family restaurant: Flower Drum, Egmore, Chennai. One of my close friends introduced me to this nice little restaurant situated in Prince Plaza, Pantheon Road at Egmore. A really delectable cuisine of Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese, but restricted to pure vegetarian dishes. I tried that fried spinach and Thai veg curry – ’twas yummy.
I would wanna go there again when I get a craving for pure vegetarian Chinese and Thai dishes. The price is also nominal, well worth for the good ambience and the perfect air-conditioner! One important thing that I noticed is that the music is not that loud – soft and just good enough for our tender ear drums. Flower drum is the place to be when you wanna take your family out to dinner!
