Just a couple of days ago, I wrote about the effects of going cyber at a young age – ‘coz I stumbled upon a twitter user who’s just 9-years old. I was having a casual conversation with my good friend, Narendra Pai, about writing a humorous poem on twitter and the trending topics. Voilà, Narendra wrote the poem in just under 7 minutes!
Here goes the poem.. it’s hilarious, yet thought provoking
Early morning outside the window,
Birds chirping in group some solo.
My linen blanket covers my unshaven face,
To the birds I say “will you shut up?”
Just then I realize my berry is under me!
I grab the black fruit and check for mails.
“Will you shut up?”Again I say to the birds.
Just then I get a @Mr.Human on my phone
All the night the phone was under me?
That’s what I hate, people speaking behind me!
@Mr.Human Good morning!
@Mr.Human are u enjoying ur day, LOL!
“Yes of course Thanks” I reciprocate
Now the birds had grown on my nerves
I type “enjoying the twitter of birds #iambirdlover”
Beside me on my bed was my cheerful wife…
I punch in“@stupidworldthisis I had a great night :p”
Stupid world this is, is really really kind.
Has followers more than Buddha
Hence tweets “I had a great night :p #prank”
This time I thought he was playing a #prank!
I am with my wife and he had a great time?
Just to clarify his tweets I replied again…
“@stupidworldthisis what did you mean?”
My linen blanket crossed the sanctity border!
world 2.0:So all set to purchase toys?
via web,0 seconds ago!
“@world2.0 I have no kids &no plans 2 have”I reply
Just then…
My intuition told me to search ‘@Mrs.Human’…
“@Mrs.Human women always fool men easily”
via web, 8 hours ago!
Beside me on my bed was my cheerful wife…
under my linen blanket a hole in the rubber guard!!!
Hope you had a good laugh. By and by, you should also read The Green Prophecy – a powerful and poignant poem on our deteriorating environment, by Narendra.
Narendra Pai is a first year engineering student studying mechanical engineering @ NMAMIT-Nitte. He calls himself a poor little poet with a poor little desire to display his poor little poetry – so humble, huh!. He also writes short stories once in a while. Do visit his official blog @ Frozen Well

LOL! this is hilarious dude. Twitter and Mr.Human..what a combination
Well, ‘m a twtter addict and could jus relate to some of the messages that becomes trending topics.. good job
thanks freind..trending topics is fine but i think i meant to mean a whole larger meaning..you(speaking of the general Mr.human) dont have sense of events in your life yet you want to inform the world…when there is a real world you portray something else in your world2.0(well at least sometimes)…its a bit scary is it not?
Ps:I am thinking of continuing the story of mr human..LOL..Naren might like this…
Wow! never knew someone would think of a poem about Twitter, and the lives spent by those tweeters tweeting incessantly.
@Narendra – Sure, this does give me some scary thoughts on what my kids will be doing on a web2.0 (or world2.0) platform, some 10 years down the line. Nice and provocative poem
nething coming up for facebook or orkut? LOL!
What can I say.. I loved the last part
reminds me of emptiness of life…at least online life… http://is.gd/20H27
