This is the thousandth time ‘m staring at this pic. I took this pic from aboard an Alpen rail, on my way back from the fairytale-ish Neuschwanstein castle. Whenever I look at the picture, I get reminded of those good days in Germany, the Bavarian alps, the snow, and the petty craving for the ever-elusive sunlight.
In India, we take sunlight for granted, and many people (well, ‘m talking about Indians) dislike cities like Chennai and Hyderabad for the heat and the ever-present sun. This is not an argument about which city is the best, so let me stop right here. Been in Europe for some time, I think that debating on which city is the best, is a little childish.
Savor the sun. Try to make the most out of it. Solar energy is abundant, yet we want electricity only from nuclear fission and fusion? Don’t stuff yourself inside air-conditioned multi-national jails.
Just get out and enjoy the warmth of the sunshine..

I totally agree. Yes I accept it, Sun makes our city very hot and sultry. But hot is hot
It is something to be enjoyed. Because this climatic condition is unique. and as long as anyone is here they should enjoy it. they will never get it back once they leave this place.

Yes, I know how much I missed the sun and the heat when I was in Germany. People that curse the sun, will one day yearn for it!
