Today, was casually browsing to find a replacement for the annoying Apple keyboard, and stumbled upon this Gboard from Google.

However, after installing the app, I encountered two different privacy messages for the same action. See the pics below:

Enabling full access to get the search feature. See how nothing else you type is is highlighted.

And, when you go about just doing that:

When you read –

This could include sensitive information such as your credit card number

– you just stop and click on Don’t Allow. Don’t you?

So, how many of you installed Gboard? And, how many of you believe that the first message is the correct one?

Until there is any clarity on this, I’ll just leave the allow full access OFF.
