Naren, there is no doubt that those overtly dramatic, everlastiing mega serials are a bane to the society.
Even when I go to functions and social gatherings as such, I see some women holding a round table conference in relation to what is happening on which serial.Give me a break people!!!!
There are more important things in this world!
Why don’t you discuss whether the nuke deal will go through or not?
Why don’t you discuss whether the quota system is practical or not?
Why don’t you have a debate on why politicians take us for a ride?
My take is , such serials should be banned for our society’s sake!

They can’t be banned. People are governed by emotions, and more the number of serials that kindle your negative emotions, the more divided and corrupted the society is – prevents you from thinking broader and deeper. This is what the advertising companies and finally the politicians want from us to ‘govern’ us. I’ve even stopped watching news channels when they tarnished the image of the poor Arushi. They were so intent in damaging the girl’s image citing some ‘relationship’ with her servant, than tracing the murderer. They conduct some stupid SMS polls too..ach mein Gott!!
