This Tanjavur temple is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It’s clean, and has an aesthetic appeal ‘coz I couldn’t find beggars inside the temple pestering you for alms. Our builders today, with all the modern engineering, couldn’t build a longer lasting building. This temple is now more than 1000 years old…still standing tall. I get goosebumps when I visit such historic places. Hampi is next in my list :)
