Firefox 4 beta – first look and impressions

Firefox 4 beta – first look and impressions

By Naren Ubi on July 7, 2010

Good news for Firefox lovers and IE haters. Firefox 4 beta 1 is now available for download – promising us with a lot of new goodies, and improvised browsing experience. As always, I wanted to try it out to honor the tech-curiosity in me. Installation: Takes about 10-15 seconds, and doesn’t alter your current stable [...]

How to create cool task lists on Gmail via Chrome and Firefox

By Naren Ubi on May 12, 2010

Are you the type that creates to-do lists on a notepad? Well, how often do you remember to click on the to-do notepad and see the task list schedule for the day? Quite cumbersome, it is. Some people use Outlook calendar or the one on their mobile phones to create task lists, so that they [...]

Lately, ‘ve been using Firefox and Flock web browsers, and ‘m liking both in spite of them having a couple of disadvantages (heh, kinda’ trivial problems: not able to perform certain online banking transactions). Firefox and Flock offer the same functionality, fast rendering and flexibility, but I find them a tad heavy on my system when I open a lot of tabs. I’ve IE 7 on my computer…

TATA SKY online recharge – will they ever get it right?

TATA SKY online recharge – will they ever get it right?

By Naren Ubi on June 22, 2008

This is an ironic fact TATA SKY’s online recharge never works properly when you want to recharge your account before your TV blacks out with no signal. This is ironic because Tata through its Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) provides premium IT services and solutions to businesses and organizations worldwide, however could not get a simple (correct me if it’s a complex process for a multi-billion dollar IT services company) online payment system right for its own sister concern – TATA SKY.
