It’s just the perspective that makes the difference..

It’s just the perspective that makes the difference..

By Naren Ubi on May 26, 2010

This picture was taken from the banks of the famous Vltava river (movies like Mission Impossible, XXX, etc were shot on this river). The place is Prague. It’s quite difficult to get the desired perspective when too many beautiful things occupy a single frame. In such circumstances, one just needs to blur the not-so-desired portions, [...]

A quiet market place..

A quiet market place..

By Naren Ubi on May 25, 2010

Imagine a quiet market place on a lazy cloudy day! With the cool breeze on your face, with the ice cream vendor in sight – irresistible. Of special mention are those buildings with Gothic architecture. I’m told that Gothic architecture is peculiar in providing asymmetry to the stance of the building, giving the entire structure a surrealistic image – a strange mixture of art, culture and magic.

Take a look at the spire of this church Týnský Chrám, or Church of Our Lady Before Tyn in English..
