I stumbled upon a nice Google Maps mash-up application, WordPress World Map. If you’re a WordPress user, blogger, developer or fan, you can register with (or without) your twitter ID, and geo-tag yourself on the global map.

I guess it’s quite a new mash-up app, and needs some big numbers to establish itself as a one-stop geo-tagger for WordPress. Since it uses the maps API, the speed of the application is directly related to the load times of the Google map – patience required if you’re jumping profiles.
