The new and improved Google Reader – Go social!

Well, I was exploring the settings tab today on my Google Reader and found something different. I just noticed this new service that enables you to broadcast the posts to social media services like twitter, Digg, Reddit, etc.

I enabled those services that I use and went back to the main page to see the difference..

If you think that your favorite site is missing in the settings page, you can always add a custom link..

Add the social networking service of your choice..

I think this is a nice feature ‘coz users can add their own links, instead of a drop-down cascading with hundreds of, often irrelevant / unused, social networking sites.
